The Perfect Relationship.

I think we’re all guilty of trying to find that perfect person for us. In our minds, we have an idea of what we want and we strive to find that person to fall in love with. We seek physical attractiveness, to the way they should act, to the quirks and personality they should have. But what I think people don’t tend to realize is that this perfect person that is dreamt up in our minds, is not always the perfect one for them. Most of time, it’s the unexpected that manages to take our breaths away like no other.

I think the perfect relationships goes past looks and even personality to an extent. In the end, it’s how that person makes you feel inside. If you get that uncontrollable silly smile whenever you think about them or talk to them. When you stare into their eyes, it’s like someone is finally looking at who you truly are for the first time; and you can feel them searching your soul . And in the end of the day, you realize how scared you truly you are to lose them; not because you care or love them; but rather you know that they become a part of you and your heart would be lost with them if they went away. What truly makes it amazing is that you somehow know that only one person could ever make you feel this way. To me, that’s the perfection we should look for.

Something To Hide.

We all have something to hide. Trapped within our souls is something that not even the closest people in our lives know exist. It’s a monster; It’s a depression; It’s an anger; It’s an obsession. It’s what we keep caged to ourselves in order to look somewhat sane in a already insane world. In the darkest parts of our minds rests the problems, disappointments, and sadness consumed within our lives that you wished didn't exist yet define who you have become.

It’s what masks an aching heart with a smile. It’s what makes us want to be alone when you already feel lonely. It’s what haunts us at the middle of the night questioning everything you thought you understood. It’s what causes you to be numb wondering how many tragedies more you can take before giving up. It’s what makes us feel like we’re not good enough no matter how amazing you be. In the attempt to not have this darkness within exploited, it will be tucked away as voices in our heads scream for our escape when in reality our mouths will never admit our pain.

We all have something to hide. Something we will never admit to. Something that we never be fully understood by yourself or other. Something we can never be able to explain even if we wanted to share it with the world. It’s the terrifying monster that has found a home in you; that you alone faces.
